Director
Ehi is a Director in the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department and is head of the firm’s Technology, Media and Communications, and Business Rescue and Insolvency practices.
Before joining MHA, Ehi worked in the office of the Solicitor-General of the Federal Capital Territory in Nigeria, where he gained experience advising on commercial contracts and large-scale construction projects.
He operates a full-service dispute resolution practice and has provided litigation support to high net-worth individuals, state-owned and private companies in High Courts throughout the country. He is also well-versed in matters encompassing ADR and has arbitrated in specialist forums such as the Press Ombudsman and ICASA’s Complaints and Compliance Committee.
A specialist in commercial litigation, Ehi also has a strong regulatory background and advises clients in matters related to constitutional, administrative and procurement law matters. He has been involved in various construction adjudications and SIU investigations and has also advised clients in the areas of corporate transactions, corporate governance, telecommunications law and insurance law.
He has extensive expertise in advising on issues of data privacy, access to information and protection of personal information (both from POPIA and GDPR perspectives) and provides advice to state-owned entities and regulators concerning all aspects of information technology and media law.
Ehi holds an LLB degree, a Post-Graduate Diploma in International Studies from Rhodes University, and an LLM in Information Technology Law from the University of Edinburgh. Ehi was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2013.
